This Privacy Policy explains how AnswerPath, Inc. (“AnswerPath,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit answerpath.com and related pages (the “Site”). It applies to the Site only and not to our product application, which is governed separately.
Information We Collect
Information you provide.When you request a demo, contact us, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you submit—such as your name, work email, company, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this information using cookies and similar technologies (see below).
Analytics, Session Recording & Visitor Identification
We use the following third-party tools on the Site. Each operates under its own privacy policy, linked below.
- Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate Site usage and traffic. Google may use this data in accordance with its own policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- PostHog. We use PostHog for product analytics and session recording, which captures interactions with the Site—such as pages viewed, clicks, navigation, and information entered into forms—to help us understand and improve how the Site is used. See PostHog’s Privacy Policy.
- Apollo.io and LiveIntent (visitor identification). We use Apollo.io’s website visitor tracking, which works with the identity provider LiveIntent, to identify the businesses (and, where available, individuals) visiting the Site. These tools use your IP address and third-party identity data to match visits to company and contact records for our sales and marketing purposes. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and support the analytics and identification tools described above. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site functions.
How We Use Information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
- Measure and analyze traffic, usage, and performance;
- Respond to your inquiries and demo requests;
- Conduct sales and marketing, including outreach to businesses that visit the Site;
- Protect the security and integrity of the Site; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
How We Share Information
We share information with the service providers that power the Site and the tools described above (including Google, PostHog, Apollo.io, and LiveIntent), and with professional advisors, in connection with a business transaction (such as a merger or acquisition), or when required to comply with law or protect our rights. We do not sell your information for money. However, our use of visitor identification and advertising-identity tools may be considered “selling” or “sharing” under certain U.S. state privacy laws (see below).
Your Choices & U.S. State Privacy Rights
You can control cookies through your browser, opt out of Google Analytics using the add-on linked above, and set a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in supported browsers.
Depending on your state of residence (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know about, access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing.” We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us at privacy@answerpath.ai. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
